A solar eclipse from Callisto - Part 2

This image suggests how A solar eclipse from Callisto - Part 1 would appear 10 minutes later. Despite the fact that Jupiter is five times further from the Sun than the Earth, the Sun would still be a brilliant spectacle as it emerged from behind Jupiter's brawny girth. Like all satellites in the Solar System, Callisto always keeps the same side facing its host planet. A stationary observer on Callisto would see Jupiter always in the same part of the sky, taking about 17 days to complete one phase cycle.
