Coelophysis amongst Araucaria

Three carnivorous dinosaur theropods of the genus Coelophysis, one male and two females, walk amongst a forest of evergreen coniferous trees of the genus Araucaria 215 million years ago in what is today the southwestern United States.

Coelophysis is one of the earliest known dinosaurs emerging during the late Triassic period. It stood only as tall as a man's hip and probably was an agile and fast runner.
